Mang Pandoy and the White Pandoy System

For over a decade now I and a couple of friends since high school has been talking about how can a couple of monkeys like us help solve the poverty in the Philippines? And one persuasive topic that has been our favorite is the White Pandoy System.

What is the White Pandoy System? It is relieving poor people in our nation by taking them in as a legal slave by capable citizens of our nation. In turn White Pandoy’s will work in service of their takers in life counts with out monetary sustenance but in return they get food, shelter, and clothing. Sounds like dirty white slavery huh?! But look closer to what our poor pandoy’s are going to make in the real world? Isn’t the work they do plus the time they do it is not enough for a normal citizen of a country to be sustained? Without a home they wander in the streets all day making them selves an “eyesore” for the nation. Honestly whatever they will do to scratch a light out of their lives, a lot of circumstances will just be a hinder into their dreams. Besides politicians just makes them as an excuse and so they support them but in the end the poor pandoy wastes their life away adding them selves to the big pull why our nation is not getting any better.

A lot of things we can add to the White Pandoy System, number one is no voting rights – such that no politicians can abuse them; service not for money – this way their takers will not take them as a burden to feed and maintain them; service not work – since no payments are required their role is in the service of and no contracts binding; no institution shall accept money from them; no institution shall hire them for work; no institution shall train them; no institution shall recruit them; no institution shall make money out of them. Takers should be capable, that is they can be proven that they can provide basic necessities for the White Pandoy, they can be used by the takers as “White” employees, where skills, education, training, and money are not involved, bottom line is they will have a place in this world and a use not just a wandering soul in the streets of manila.

Since no money are involved the White Pandoy cannot be used for money, abused for money, or be criminally inclined for money. White Pandoys are not citizens of a country but in service of the citizens of a country. Just like in numerous country slaves are common, and actually a fading entity of theirs, maybe its time for ours? Poverty is like a swarm (mathematically speaking – a reverse healthy system), and on a healthy system when it’s attacked by a swarm it will create deaths from overcrowding (as in John Conway’s Game of Life), since it’s occupying the same space at the same time (just like the poor pandoys) but in due time the healthy system will revive itself, weeding away the weak and restoring the strong; all these if it’s a real healthy system. The Philippines is a system (not just political!) and it’s on their people hands to make this system work for them to survive through time.
